The big finale of Humber's Web Design, Development and Maintenance program was the creation and presentation of our portfolio pieces and a personal portfolio website. With all the knowledge bestowed upon me by my amazing instructors, and after hours and hours of web development, I was so pumped and ready.
At the start of this project, I was also working on developing my business card. At the forefront of my mind stood the question of what I wanted my brand to represent; what facets of myself and of my work did I find most important in exuding to potential collaborators? Of course in answering this, I wanted to be as honest as possible. I wasn’t going to present a website that was monochrome with an editorial feel - it could be a beautiful aesthetic, but it’s so not me.
